Description
This procedure explains the two ways to install (and update) the APP + download content.
- Manually (Pick this if you are an External partner. Optional for OTB Employees)
- Automatically (available to OTB employees only. Suggested method for them, unless specified in communication from HYPEROOM news)
Make sure to follow all instruction until the end of the article, since we also explain how to solve common issues.
Solution
For this procedure you will need:
- A working HYPEROOM account (only sellers and Explorers)
- An iPad that is compliant with the prerequisites for HYPEROOM APP installation (see them here)
Which installation method are you going to be using?
Pick the brand and download
- Open page https://apps.otb.net/HypeRoom-App/HYP/ (see screenshot below) from any browser (safari, chrome, etc) on the iPad
- Tap on the APP for your Brand (each one has it's own) and install
If nothing happens after you TAP on INSTALL, you are likely running an iOS version lower than 12 (As per the prerequisites for installation)
Is it your first time installing the APP?
First timers need to send us a few information.
Collect the following
- IPad's Serial Number & iOS software version (you can find both under settings - general - about)
- Type of MDM (Mobile Device Management) installed on the iPad ( If any: see How to verify which kind of MDM solution i have on my mobile for details). If you are unsure, leave it blank.
- Brand you need to install (Diesel, Dsquared, Kochè, Just Cavalli, Margiela, Marni, MM6, BraveKID)
Since this procedure may take some time, If you are in a hurry you may want, in the meantime, to install the APP manually.
Send us the information
- Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the data you collected
- As soon as we receive your request, we will contact you to proceed with the installation.
Install from MDM
The procedure will slightly vary from Intune Company Portal and Meraki System manager.
Open Company Portal
Select the APP you want to install
Tap on Install and wait until done
Login and download content
Now that the APP is installed, it's time to download the Season's content (we are going to be using Diesel as an example): tap on the APP to open it
Please note: if you never installed a OTB application before (like Digital Book), you may receive an Untrusted Enterprise developer message (Sviluppatore interno non autorizzato)
If this happens:
- Close the error message
- Go to settings - general - device management - Only the brave SRL
- Confirm you trust Only the brave SRL
- The app can now be opened

Open the APP and login with the same email that you use on HYPEROOM's website. Select the USERNAME (in case you have more than one) and then enter the password
Choose the season you wish to download, and confirm
You get to choose if you want to download all collections (tap on DOWNLOAD ALL) or just selected ones (tap on the desired collection and then DOWNLOAD SELECTED)
The APP is now ready to be used
