New Image Management

Updated on

Images on Hyperoom are displayed following these rules :

1) Model-Fabric-Color (colored photo)

If the images of the StyleID (Model-Fabric-Color) exist, you will see the photo of the article.

In case there is no image for StyleID, you will see a Black and White variant of the image and a small box with the Fabric or Color in the lower right corner of the product card, according to the rules indicated below:

  • Case 2) Main Product

You will see the Main Product photo. Read the chapter below "Manage Main Products" to understand how to define main products.

  • Case 3) Model Fabric

If case 2 does not exist, you will see the photo of the first available Color variant.

  • Case 4) Model (first fabric, color available)

If case 3 does not exist, you will see the photo of the first Fabric-Color available.

In case no product variant has image (cases 2, 3 and 4), then:

  • Case 5) Fabric (StyleID A)

You will only see the photo of the Fabric referring to the article.

  • Case 6) Color (StyleID A)

If case 5 does not exist, you will only see the photo of the Color referring to the article.

  • Case 7) No image

If none of the previous cases are satisfied, then you will not see the image.

This new logic is available for both web and app, in the following sections:

  • Catalog by Model/Fabric
  • PDP
  • Wishlist
  • Cart
  • Content

Main Product Management

The main product is the fabric\color version of a product that is defined as main item, so in Hyperoom's img logic the main product is the first img that you see about a specific model. You can define the Main Product by completing the Excel attachment as reported below:

  • Column A: Indicate the Brand code, here the list:
    • Diesel   D
    • D2  Q
    • MM   G
    • MM6   X
    • Marni   M
    • Jil Sander   L
    • BK Diesel  B
    • BK D2  S
    • BK Marni  R
    • BK N21  N
    • BK MM6  V
    • BK Max Mara C
  • Column B: Indicate the Year
  • Column C: Indicate the Season
  • Column D: Style, indicate the model code of the main product
  • Column E: Fabric, indicate the fabric code of the main product
  • Column F: Color, indicate the color code of the main product
  • Column G: Active, indicate with code "1" to activate the product as main
  • There can only be one main product for an item.
  • If you do not specify the main product of an item, Hyperoom will take the item with the smallest item number as the main product.

Once the Excel file is completed, you must send it by email with the below data so the img logic reported above can be applied.

  • Email address: [email protected]
  • Subject email: VSR - MAIN_PRODUCT - LOAD - colori principali "Codice Brand" "Data di invio"
    (eg. VSR - MAIN_PRODUCT - LOAD - colori principali L 280223)
  • File name: colori principali "Codice Brand" Data di invio" (eg. colori principali L 28022023)
